Dive into The Age Of Everything, Johnny Marr's fifth full-length studio record. This album captures the raw energy and underlying tensions of urban life, forged through a unique creative process spanning multiple cities. Sharp, fast, and dynamic, the record is filled with fresh ideas and possibilities, reflecting a sense of overwhelm and potential in modern culture.

Album Context and Creation

Marr describes this work as his most cathartic to date. The title, The Age Of Everything, emerged early and encapsulated the pervasive feeling many people experience today. While acknowledging the cultural overwhelm brought on by technology, Marr explores this theme with an eye toward potential and possibility rather than purely negative sentiment.

The music itself was written in London, developed live on the road across the East Coast of North America, and finally recorded in Manchester, imbuing the tracks with a distinct sense of place and momentum.
