Let Us Do Good

In commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, the CEO of our country's largest 9/11 nonprofit shares the inspiring story of his heroic brother, his family's mission, and the ongoing generosity that fuels their work supporting the nation's heroes and their families.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller, having just finished his shift, heard the call and turned his truck around, heading towards lower Manhattan and the World Trade Center. With roads closed, Stephen ran through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel carrying sixty pounds of gear, determined to save lives. He never made it home.

This moving and inspiring book, written by Stephen's brother Frank Siller, recounts how the family transformed profound loss into a global movement of hope and action. Let Us Do Good details the birth of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, its growth through the support of everyday citizens, celebrities, and companies, and the significant good works accomplished. The foundation provides mortgage-free homes to families of fallen first responders and military members, builds state-of-the-art smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans, and offers housing and comprehensive services for homeless veterans.

This inspiring memoir is a testament to the power of faith, family, and community, demonstrating how honoring sacrifice can create a lasting legacy.
