Last Tango in Paris [Blu-ray]

Last Tango in Paris (Blu-ray)

When Last Tango in Paris was first released, famed critic Pauline Kael said it, “has altered the face of an art form.” Others called it pornographic, and it has remained famously divisive ever since. Marlon Brando stars in what might be the greatest performance of his career as Paul, an American in Paris whose wife has just committed suicide. Lost in grief, he embarks on a strange, exclusively physical relationship with Jeanne (Maria Schneider), a young woman soon to be married, agreeing to share no details about each other, not even names. Praised and condemned, 88 Films proudly presents this 70’s masterpiece from a 4K re-master.
