La GioiosaLa Gioiosa is one of Italy's leading Prosecco, sparkling and still wine producers. Based in Treviso in the heart of 'Prosecco country', La Gioiosa has consistently won awards across the globe and its quality wines are enjoyed my many. The winemaker freezes the Prosecco must prior to fermentation to ensure maximum freshness upon bottling. Its name pays tribute to the old definition of the province of Treviso, Marca Gioiosa et amorosa (Joyous and Amorous March) underlining the sociable lifestyle of its inhabitants. The production area extends in the province of Treviso including the hills of morainic origin over the plain with medium textured soils of alluvial origin.
La Gioiosa VineyardLa Gioiosa Rosea Brut Prosecco
La Gioiosa Rosea Brut ProseccoLa Gioiosa's Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc rosé is light and bright rose colour. Delicate and persistent bubbles. Fruity and flowery bouquet with delicate notes of unripe golden apple and small mountain flowers. The flavour is dry, fresh and zesty, with a fruity and harmonious aftertaste. A friendly, happy fizz designed for joyous occasions and for sharing with friends and relaxed foods. Excellent as an aperitif. Ideal with fish especially with Livornese style fish.
La Gioiosa Prosecco Doc Treviso Brut-La Gioiosa Prosecco Doc Treviso Brut
La Gioiosa Prosecco Rosé DOC MillesimatoIn Treviso, Prosecco's heartland', the locals have a motto to describe their home - 'marca gioiosa et amorosa', it's a 'joyful and amorous' place. It inspired the Moretti Polegatto family when they needed a name for their Prosecco business. They've been making Prosecco for three generations and wanted a name that tied them to the land which had given them so much. 'Gioiosa' - 'joyful' was the perfect fit. Not least because it describes these bubbles. Fresh. Fruity. They'll definitely provoke a joyous reaction in you. This is full of classic Prosecco flavour. Think white blossom, pear and peachy stone fruit. It's a delicious aperitif or party wine - and perfect with canapés.
La Gioiosa 63kcal low-calorie Sparkling wineLa Gioiosa Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato
La Gioiosa 0% Sparkling whiteThe new La Gioiosa Rose Prosecco is here! Until very recently, producers weren't allowed to label rosé fizz as 'Prosecco' - even if it was made inside the region and to the same high standards as the typical white bubbles. But in the past couple of months, labelling laws have finally changed - and we're thrilled to be stocking this, one of the first rosé Proseccos to hit UK. Dry. Fresh. Zesty. It's delicately red-fruity - think redcurrants and raspberries - with a lovely floral quality. It's seriously moreish, and absolutely perfect to share over a raspberry soufflé.
La Gioiosa Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Millesimato DOCGLa Gioiosa Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Millesimato DOCG
La Gioiosa Prosecco Spumante Brut DOC GoldLa Gioiosa Valdobbiadene DOCG is like Prosecco's 'Grand Cru'. The wines can only come from the small area in the hills between the town of Conegliano and the village of Valdobbiadene, where the 'Prosecco Road' runs along the hilltops above vineyards of staggering steepness. DOCG marks this as the highest tier of Italian wine - it's the best sparkling wine in Italy. And you can really taste the quality. This is 'brut' - the driest sort of Prosecco you can find. It's crisp. It's fruity. It's delicately floral. If you try one Prosecco, make it this. Perfect with salty, savoury Parma ham.
