Description
After Chaos: Nocturnal Vigil is a Runemagick CD in a jewel case for listeners drawn to immersive, atmospheric metal. Across eight interconnected compositions, it follows a solitary passage through stillness, dissolution and transformation.
Blending Death/Doom Metal with ritualistic atmospheres, meditative passages and cosmic depth, the album explores rune magick, animism and continuity. Guest vocalist Dísa Draugurinn adds shamanic, trance-like invocations to its dreamlike sound.
A continuation of Cycle of the Dying Sun (Dawn of Ashen Realms), the album moves further into themes of endings, new thresholds and ongoing transformation.
