Tangerine Dream - Raum [2LP Vinyl]

Raum is a studio album by electronic music pioneers Tangerine Dream, pressed as a gatefold double LP on 140g black vinyl. It’s for listeners drawn to sequencer-led soundscapes, atmospheric synthesizers and the group’s evolving electronic sound.

Composed and produced by Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick, the album builds on the concept of the group’s Probe 6–8 EP. It combines late-night compositions with studio productions, drawing on Edgar Froese’s Cubase arrangements and tape archive.

Across the album, haunting sequences meet warm, anthemic synthesizers. Standout pieces include the 17-minute “In 256 Zeichen”, “Continuum”, “You Are Always On Time” and the title track “Raum”, which nods to early Tangerine Dream works such as Zeit and Phaedra.
