Double Jeopardy (2000) - DVD

In an insurance scam, a man fakes his death and frames his wife for his murder. After serving 10 years in prison, Libby Parsons (Ashley Judd) is released and determined to track him down. Thanks to the double jeopardy clause in the U.S. Constitution, she cannot be prosecuted twice for the same crime—giving her the ultimate legal loophole to seek justice on her own terms.
